wandering

I wandered lonely as a clown

Adrift of sense with holy smile

When all at once I saw a crown

Upon a monsters crooked smile.

I lingered, tattered as a shroud

A relic of life’s tapestry

And watched the bullshit twinkling

and thought of how life used to be.

I pondered as a holy fool

Left tears upon the trodden path

And found myself a solitude

To watch the failing aftermath.

A clown in tattered suit and hat

Upon a moments truth he sat

In salty tears and saddened woe

To watch the final circus show….

The elephants were sycophants

The roaring Lion meek

The acrobats in soldiers hats

We’re not allowed to speak.

The crowd were shopping on their phones

and silently they sat

While custard pies of dirty lies

were from the heavens shat.

Circuses and Bread

The world is off it’s head

I wandered lonely as a Clown

til it was time for bed.

Nos Da Pawb…..
