The Paperverse in Residence @ Ty Pawb

16/11/2024 until 8/2/2025

Duxicus will be pushing the known boundaries of extemporised performance via an ongoing commitment to vox populi and shared curiosity.

Unique encounters with found historic paperverse objects will serve as an entry point to deeper listening in this investigation into the mores of Life in Wrexham…

Adventures in AdventLand

December found me sitting with the Remington creating a set of twelve illusory snapshots of Advent doors to open

a Poets review of an Artists work :

Go faring forth

Feel the freedom heading north

Catch a ride and let it take you

Into yonders unknown breeze.

A life of ease in pleated skirt

As quarry flies into escape

Released from terra entered ether

Grip secure in gillet blue.

A dance together forever willing

Laura Weston’s ink block view

Is the woman welcomed by the dance of furry beast

Or has she subjugated nature in the name of folly’s feast?

Laura – over to you

The clues you offer ask the question well

Is faring fair?

Week One:

Beyond the Epiphany i returned in flow

to juxtapose via Carbon Paper & a stream of unconscious time-in-type

Reviewing the situations…

DO GEESE SEE GOD

( a palindrome of poise & ponder )

Eyes drawn towards a far-off shrouded majesty,

carried in formation through the billows.

A saturation muted in the marshy salination

as ganders heading onwards claim their vee.
