When ridicule is all we have

then ridicule we must,

releasing pressure from a valve

and hoping that it’s vapours rust

the golden plated lunacy

of all that comes to pass,

that thickened skin will blister

and the moment will outlast the pain

that each of us must suffer

as we wait to watch him fall,

the crooked man who looks like spam

The Trumpty on the Wall
