Lynam Times

On Denmark Hill with time to kill

I sit and drink my coffee dark

Ahead of me a workshop waits

A Lynam time of Modern Clown

Upon a dreamless night I slept

And rose to early pinkish dawn

To find myself awaiting fate

Refreshed, about to be reborn.

Confetti on South London’s breeze

the blossomfall of chestnut trees

As Google maps my journeys ease

I’m halfway thru the workshops wheeze.

I gargle coffee in the shade

Feel grateful for decisions made

The 484 will be here soon

returning me to Lynams loons.

Weary apres a workshops wonders

I wandered to Norwood via paths unknown…

A tower was my beacon as I navigated the meander home…

Chris Lynam I offer thee thanks in excelsis

for the wisdom you gave to our troupe of Clodern Mowns…

In being here I gained much and thank thee greatly…

but also in the doings lost the chance to dance with the Workhouse May Pole … Tis needs as must.

insha’Allah eh what…
