The Xenophobes are ramping up their rhetoric and ire
With fearful rancid reasoning they’re stoking up the fire
In echoed voice, a call to arms, with costs becoming higher
The politics of poverty, the largesse of the liar.
A stranger is a fellow that we haven’t met before
And he or she or they are coming in their ever more
In trillions will they land upon the caustic of our shore
And each of them will steal our jobs and leaving us feeling poor.
Let’s call upon the Bogeyman, lets gather up our fears
Lets play the game of blame and shame & wash in angry tears
Let’s all ignore the reasons for the failings of our years
And listen to the logic of Reforming our ideas.
